摘要：

The magnetic properties of the hypothetic compounds RFe5 (R = Y. Gd) have been investigated by making use of the substituted compounds R(Ni1-xFex)(5), where R = Y and Gd. X-ray analysis, magnetic measurements and Mossbauer effect were carried out. In the case of Y (x less than or equal to 0.5), the moments at the 2c and 3g sites, and other properties are determined. By an extrapolation to x = 1. the magnetic properties of RFe5 are estimated. In Gd (x less than or equal to 0.4), metamagnetic phenomena are found. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
