摘要
Internal exposure is an important radiation pathway for individual received doses after accidents. Internal exposure can be caused by inhalation of radioactive contaminated air, ingestion of contaminated food and water, infected skin wound as well. This paper is devoted to the study of the committed doses as a result of inhalation of radionuclides in the case of nuclear power plant accidents and emergency for workers and public with adequate models based on advanced international research results on internal exposure dose assessment. Critical factors for inhalation committed dose calculation are analyzed according to specific accident conditions, environmental conditions for workers and public, radionuclides' group, amount and chemical forms, and internal dose evaluation results, so as to recommend adequate mitigation and protection measures to reduce the received doses of workers and public under accident and emergency conditions.
