Recent results and prospects from the STAR detector and RHIC

摘要：

Selected recent results from STAR and highlights from the RHIC complex of detectors, using soft and hard probes in heavy ion Au + Au collisions, are presented. As well, a glimpse to future investigations employing p + Au and nucleon spin structure studies with polarized proton collisions.
