THE CONTRIBUTION OF PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES IN THE TEACHING-LEARNING PROCESS IN THE AREA OF ELECTROMECHANICS

摘要
A range of tools for data evaluation can be used in the most varied contexts and / or realities, as is the case with statistical-based methods. Given the above, objective of this research was to analyze the performance of students submitted to practical activities associated with the content of the mechanical maintenance discipline, based on the analysis of variance (ANOVA). The enrolled students were divided into 4 groups (G1, G2, G3 and G4), each with 11 records. The statistical tests highlighted divergence in relation to the groups' means in terms of the mean values, when the pairs are analyzed simultaneously. In this case, groups C (G3) and D (G4) are identified as distinct compared to groups A (G1) and B (G2). Therefore, it is concluded that the practical activities reinforce the teaching-learning process, which can influence the individual and group performance of students.
