Magnetic localization of classical electrons in 2D disordered lattice

摘要
The classical ballistic motion of 2D electrons interacting with a disordered system of round scatterers is studied in a magnetic field. Besides the usual percolational phase transition related to geometrical connectedness, the magnetic percolation threshold was found, separating the infinite motion for high cyclotron radius r(c), and total localization of electrons for small r(c). The components of the conductivity tensor are studied far and near the pecolation threshold. Nonlinear conductivity of the insulating magnetic phase is obtained. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
