Distributions of a magnetic microfield in plasmas

摘要
The amplitude distribution of a magnetic microfield is investigated both for equilibrium and nonequilibrium plasmas. Results for the field in a neutral point of an equilibrium non-relativistic ideal plasma look like the Holtsmark distribution for the electrical microfield. Relaxations in nonequilibrium plasmas may lead to an additional microfield. It is shown that the total magnetic microfield in nonequilibrium plasmas (laser-produced, for example) may strongly increase with respect to the field in ideal equilibrium plasmas with the same density.
