摘要
This letter presents a novel global asymptotic stability (GAS) criterion for fixed-point digital filters (DFs) employing saturation overflow arithmetic. The criterion is developed using an improved characterization of saturation nonlinearities (as prevailing in the DF under study) and Lyapunov theory. The criterion outperforms a series of existing criteria.
