Facile Synthesis of Cu2ZnSnS4 Nanoparticles by Thermal Decomposition Process and Application in Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells

摘要
Crystalline Cu2ZnSnS4(CZTS) nanoparticles were synthesized by simple, single step thermal decomposition process and the affect of synthesis temperature on phase formation and band gap also studied. CZTS films were prepared from the suspension of synthesized nanoparticles in organic solvent and subsequently utilized as counter electrode (CE) for dye sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). DSSC fabricated with CZTS based CE showed photo conversion efficiency (PCE) of 4.5%.
