Study of different kinetic models for oil shale pyrolysis

摘要
Pyrolysis experiments on oil shale samples from Fushun and Maoming were carried out using a thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) at four different heating rates of 1, 2, 5 and 10degreesC/min. The kinetic parameters of oil shale pyrolysis were determined from TGA data by using integral method, differential method, Friedman procedure, maximum rate method and parallel first order reaction model. The different methods and the kinetic parameters thus obtained are discussed and compared with each other. (C) 2003 Published by Elsevier B.V.
