摘要：

Pancreas transplant is a complex procedure. Surgery is complicated, and so are the clinical management of the transplanted pancreas, as well as its radiological study. Kidney transplant is the treatment of choice in end-stage kidney disease since it provides longer survival with better quality of life than hemodialysis. The average life of the grafts ranges between 13-24 years, having reported a survival rate of 90.2% of them during the first year after transplantation.
