摘要
A bottleneck appeared due to the lack of storage space at assembly stations when a new model start to be produced on a mixed model assembly line of an automotive company. To solve the problem, engineers plan and implement kitting to replace the line stocking as the material supply system of the mixed model assembly line. The completed kitting system achieve the advantage by meeting the space requirement, decreasing non-value additional work time of operators, improving the working environment, enhancing administration of assembly line and increasing product quality.
