摘要：
Although attention has focused particularly on glycemic control in those with diabetes, it now is evident that lipid and blood pressure interventions can have dramatic favorable effects on risk for coronary heart disease in diabetic individuals. Practitioners should work together to reduce the overall burden of risk factors and heed the augmented efforts to develop strict guidelines for glucose, blood pressure, and lipid levels in diabetics.
