摘要
Virtualization is one of the key components during the performance evaluation of network enabled environment including distributed computing, cloud computing, grid computing or pervasive computing. In the classical aspects, it is difficult to perform the implementation at physical devices all the time in the research and development process. The network administrators and forensic teams are working on software defined networking (SDN) by which the network components can be controlled and managed via virtual infrastructure and suites. With the help of SDN, effective control including routing, scheduling, security and related algorithms can be implemented on real networks. Alongside the evolution of networking is the evolution of network attacks. With the introduction of SDN, new strategies for securing the traffic are needed. Even though many SDN systems are relatively new and SDN is still in the realm of the early adopters, but as the technology matures and is more widely deployed, it will become a target for attackers. In this paper, a pragmatic analysis of the security aspects and related dimensions is done. The vulnerabilities and associated factors on the network environment are underlined in this work, with that help the higher level security can be implemented.
