摘要
this work aims to revisit Nick Bostrom's simulation argument (2003), under an intermedial perspective, to discuss some cultural sources and influences on Bostrom's proposal. We will also consider the criticism or counter-arguments provided by other authors who have already discussed this topic. In summary, we suspect that Bostrom's argument is so contaminated by mediascapes and the neoliberal ideology that it is difficult to confirm whether it precedes or derives from such a broth culture or nutrient media. In other words, we wonder if Bostrom's argument have appeared as a philosophical by-product of neoliberal ideology.
