摘要：
Adrenocortical carcinoma is a rare and aggressive malignancy with varying presentations. Histologic criteria for distinguishing malignancy from benignity are challenging and make it difficult to assign a clear prognosis. Furthermore, there remain many uncertainties regarding optimal medical and surgical treatments. In this review, we describe the epidemiology, clinical presentation, pathogenesis, pathology, and treatment of adrenocortical carcinoma with specific attention to areas of uncertainty and controversy.
