摘要
Pontarachna persiangulfia sp. nov., a new species of pontarachnid mites of the suborder Hydrachnidia, is described from Persian Gulf, Iran. The new species is most similar to Pontarachna arabica Pesic et al., 2008 from the Red Sea. The new species can be separated in the shape of genital field and terminal segment of the legs.
