摘要
This paper gives the results of survey on energy consumption and indoor air quality of rural districts of northern China. The survey work covered more than 100 villages and in 18 villages, the indoor thermal date, building thermal characteristic and energy consumption were measured detaily. It was found that in those districts, energy consumption was very much more than that in capital cities; some residential building was even 6 times as much as that in capital cities. But the indoor thermal quality of rural districts of northern China is still very uncomfortable. It is also recommended that in order to reduce the total energy consumption of the country, the energy saving in that districts should paid more attention to.
