Rostratusaphis gen. nov. with Rostratusaphis rhododendronitos sp. nov. is described from southwest China on Rhododendron simsii. Illustrations with the biometric data for apterous and viviparous females are provided. This genus is closely related to Ericolophium Tao and Ericaphis Borner. Type specimens are deposited at the National Zoological Museum of China, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing.
