摘要
The paper discusses scintillation and luminescence properties of thallium doped Lil crystals, grown by the Bridgman technique. X-ray induced emission spectrum is obtained between 380 nm and 600 nm, and is attributed to the Tl+ ion. The photoluminescence measurement with the excitation wavelength of 305 nrn revealed a similar emission spectrum. Light yield, energy resolution and scintillation decay time profiles were studied under 662 keV (Cs-137) gamma-ray excitation. A maximum light yield of 14,000 +/- 1400 ph/MeV and two exponential decay time components were obtained. (C) 2015 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
