摘要
The purpose of this paper is to answer the question in which territories were the opposition political parties able to contain the force of Morena in the 2021 election? It is based on the assumption that although it is undeniable that the party founded by President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador is emerging as one of the most successful organizations in terms of electoral performance, the current conditions of plurality and political fragmentation prevent the implementation of a hegemonic party system and therefore it is necessary to identify those territories in which, in the midst of the broad support for Morena, the opposition has been able to resist and lay the foundations from which it will have to compete in the 2024 process for the Presidency of the Republic.
