The State of the Council

I hope you all had some time to rest and relax during the summer. The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) has been on fast forward. This summer, we held our first face-to-face activity since the pandemic began. July 9 through 11, we held the Leadership Institute near Washington, DC. Leaders from the states, provinces, and territories; division leaders; and committee leaders attend this event. This was a rebooted form of the Leadership Institute. I am very encouraged and excited about the future of our organization. The Leaders I met have an excellent vision for the future of CEC, and they were provided knowledge and tools to move that vision forward.
