摘要
A study concerning a comparison among different control approach is presented in the paper, first of all between open and closed loop controllers and then between on-off and adaptive algorithms. The analysis carried out on a simple 2-DOF model equipped with control devices permits to confirm that semi-active control techniques based on a closed loop strategy and a real-time adaptive algorithm, show a reliable behaviour with a stable reduction of the seismic response, independent of both intensity and frequency of the external perturbation. Eventually, the research results demonstrate that semi-active control based on smart devices and a proper algorithm offers the reliability of purely passive systems, keeping however both capabilities and flexibility of fully active systems.
