Based on recently improved quantum-chemical data, the lifetimes of the vibrational states of the He(2(1)S)-Ne weakly bound molecule are calculated. The resulting estimates take into account both bound-bound and bound-free transitions. For the first time, the temperature dependence of the effective lifetime is determined.
