摘要
Asymmetric organocatalysis has attracted a considerable amount attention for organic chemists. Due to the a-acidic hydrogen, beta-ketoesters could be functionalized in the presence of organic base or metal Lewis acid. Recent development of organocatalytic asymmetric alpha-functionalization of beta-ketoesters reactions is reviewed, and various electrophiles of these reactions are described.
