摘要
The present article gathers the results of the research carried out at the Professional Conservatory of Music of Segovia, in order to evaluate its quality as an educational institution and propose improvements. This investigation had two goals: on one side, to identify the most deficient areas and which should therefore be addressed as a priority in a future plan to improve the Centre, and, on the other, to propose some of the specific actions that could be undertaken within each of these areas to solve the weaknesses detected. For the purpose of data gathering , researchers implemented four questionnaires extracted from the standardized self-evaluation model of the Junta de Castilla y Leon and a semi-structured group interview were used. Teachers, families, students and non-teaching personnel participated in the study. Among the conclusions of the study, it is worth highlighting the four areas in which it would be advisable to focus in order to improve the educational service of the Conservatory: planning , organisation, leadership and resource management.
