摘要
Capacity testing of butt welded joints by means of four chosen welding technologies (A, B, C, D) on vertical cylindrical container converted into four separate chambers was performed by analysis of stress and strain conditions using, finite element method through software package NASTRAN. Numeric analysis demonstrated in this paper includes complex unity that contains BM (base metal), WM (weld metal) and HAZ (heat affected zone). According to the analysis model for BM and electrode EVB 50, an analysis was performed of the stress conditions in butt welded joints for all four applied welding technologies (A, B, C, D), including HAZ as a critical area of each welded joint.
