摘要
Stress corrosion cracking (SCC) behaviour of plasma hardened 1Cr12Ni2W1Mo1V steel in 22% NaCl solution and the effects of pitting corrosion cracking on fatigue properties of the steel were investigated. Experimental results show that the SCC threshold stress of the samples tempered at 250 degrees C is 320 MPa, and the value is 240 MPa for the samples tempered at 540 degrees C. Fatigue experiments of stress corrosion eroded samples indicate that samples tempered at 250 degrees C have better fatigue properties. Precipitating of Cr23C6 during the process of 540 degrees C tempering decreases Cr content near to the grain boundaries, therefore, reduces the resistance to SCC. Tempering temperatures have great effects on the corrosion resistance of 1Cr12Ni2W1Mo1 steel.
