摘要
The carbon dioxide in the alkaline soil is socking away in large quantities in an inorganic form. Deserts are a larger sink for carbon dioxide and roughly half the amount emitted globally is by burning fossil fuels. Tamarix shrubs are thriving in China, but the soil itself is socking more carbon dioxide.
