摘要
It has become increasingly clear that reduction of the emissions of carbon dioxide arising from combustion of fossil fuels is needed. To limit the increase in the CO2 concentration in the atmosphere, one path, which is beginning to receive recognition, is the capture and disposal of the CO2 formed from the combustion or conversion of fossil fuels, because power production is responsible for one third of the CO2 released to the atmosphere worldwide. The purpose of this paper is to give air overview of the status of the technologies for carbon dioxide capture and disposal.
