摘要
The vibration control and damage detection of a transmission tower-line system subjected to seismic excitation is carried out in this study by using semi-active friction dampers. The analytical models of transmission tower-line system are developed for both in-plane and out-of-plane vibration. Two semi-active control strategies are proposed for the seismic vibration mitigation. A damage detection scheme is developed in the time domain to identify stiffness damages of the transmission tower. A real transmission tower-line system constructed in China is taken as an example to examine the feasibility and reliability of the proposed vibration control approach and damage detection approach.
