摘要
Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 (Bi-2212) tapes have been successfully fabricated on the inexpensive Ni-substrates with a shorter annealing time by the simple two-step spray/press process originally developed by us for the fabrication of HgBa2Ca2Cu3O9+delta/Ni tapes. The critical current density J(c) at 4.2 K of the tapes so-prepared is 5 X 10(5) A/cm(2) at 0 T; and 3 X 10(5) and 1.5 X 10(5) A/cm(2) at 8 T, which is parallel and perpendicular to J(c), respectively. This compares favorably with the best previous results reported for Bi-2212 tapes in a Ag-sheath or on a Ag-substrate. (C) 1998 Published by Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
