摘要
Allergy to zoo animals is presumably a rarity in the general population. However, as a few studies suggest, it is similarly frequent among zoo workers as it is among other occupational groups whose work involves contact to animals on a regular basis. Besides, this article reviews a number of remarkable case reports of contact urticaria, rhinoconjunctivitis, or asthma caused by allergy to a broad range of species of zoo animals or exotic pets.
