Superconductive properties of binary amorphous alloys

摘要
The influence of disorder on the superconductive properties of binary amorphous metal alloys has been investigated. The superconductivity transition temperatures, T-c, of a range of compositions have been calculated, using values of the constant of the electron-phonon interaction, L. It is shown that L and T-c increase after the transition from the crystal state to an amorphous one. Softening of the phonon spectrum and diffusion scattering of electrons, which appear to be due to the violation of the long-range order, are responsible for this increase. The dependence of T-c on the concentration of each metal in the binary amorphous alloy is studied. The calculated values of T-c for some concentrations appear to be higher than the superconductivity transition temperatures of the pure amorphous metals which form the corresponding alloy.
