摘要
The superplastic characteristics of nitride mullite (48%Al2O3-52%SiO2) short fiber/6061A1 composites were investigated. Nitride mullite short fibers consist of beta-sialon on their surfaces and mullite in their interiors. Our results show that at 853 K, the composites exhibited a total elongation of 220% at a strain rate range of 6,0 x 10(-3) -2.0 x 10(-2) s(-1). (C) 2003 Acta Materialia Inc.
