摘要
Airway surgery presents a unique challenge for anesthetic management. In most cases, intermittent cross-field ventilation minimizes the disruption to the surgical field while allowing adequate oxygenation and ventilation. Based on the patient's lesion and surgical approach, the use of jet ventilation or extracorporeal membrane oxygenation may be necessary. In all circumstances, close communication between the anesthetist and surgeon is necessary for the successful conduct of these cases.
