摘要
An efficient flicker-free video defogging method is implemented on FPGA and presented in this live demonstration. Considering real-time applications, the proposed design involves a low-cost hardware oriented architecture on an atmospheric scattering model and dark channel prior. The synthesis results show that the design can achieve a processing rate of 200 Mpixels/s by using TSMC 0.13-um technology. Our design is demonstrated on an embedded platform by using Xilinx Spartan-6 FPGA, and the system input could be either static images or videos stream from USB camera.
