摘要：

The Honshu-Shikoku Bridge Expressway (HSBE) has 17 long-span bridges located over straits where environment is very harsh. In order to keep these bridges in sound state for more than 200 years, the Honshu-Shikoku Bridge Expressway Company Limited (the company) is conducting maintenance based on the concept of the preventive maintenance. This paper describes the concept of asset management and each maintenance element of the HSBE.
