摘要
The present paper addresses the analysis of large-scale three dimensional magneto-mechanical problems by means of a coupled boundary element-finite element procedure. Iterative techniques are used for the solution of the associated linear systems; their intrinsic ill-conditioning is cured by means of ad-hoc multigrid solvers and fast multipole techniques as accelerators. Some numerical examples are presented in order to test the performance of the proposed approach. (c) 2004 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
