摘要：

A small ponds are able to reduce the load of Nitrogen and Phosphorus, especially in a long time perspective. This study shows, that in a small catchment areas such old ponds can be used as a simple way to reduce nutrients transport and as one of measures for restoration of small rivers basins. The removal rate depends on climatic conditions and discharge. In low temperatures and high water removal of N and P was lower.
