摘要
Reactor protection systems are one of the most important systems in nuclear power plant instrumentation and control systems. Periodic test plays an important role to maintain reactor protection system at a high level of operational reliability. The periodic test is carried out with every redundant channel independently and cause large fluctuations in the overall reliability of the system, in which the test frequency and test duration are main aspects to study its influence on the reactor protection system reliability. The research simulates the periodic test with direct Monte Carlo method and gets the unavailability curve of the protection system under periodic test.
