摘要
The burr is one of the common phenomena occurring in machining. The form of cutting burr produced in milling process is classified. Then the forming principle of cutting-direction burr is experimented and the related theories are analyzed. The specific critical depth of cut a(pI) is given and the main influencing factors of burrs are obtained. Furthermore, some measures to control and decrease the cutting-direction burrs in milling are proposed.
