摘要
We have previously published two consensus reports on the management of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection. The first was the Hainan Consensus Report, based on the conference held at Sanya, Hainan Province in 1999 and published in 2000. The second was the Tongcheng Consensus Report, based on the conference held at Tongcheng, Anhui Province in 2003 and published in 2004. Since then, new knowledge and understanding on several important issues of H. pylori infection have been recognized in our country, and the two European Maastricht Consensus Reports in 2000 and 2005 have given us much additional information. As a result the Helicobacter pylori Infection Study Group of the Chinese Society of Gastroenterology organized the Third National Consensus Meeting on H. pylori infection that was held on 10-12 August 2007 at Lushan, Jiangxi Province. More than 60 experts attended the meeting and a new consensus report on several important issues concerning H. pylori infection was discussed and formulated.
