摘要
One of the most important factors, that influence the effectiveness of teaching, is to motivate student to learn. The student learns the most when he is forced to actively think. Therefore, it created activating teaching methods that are continuously improved. Using these methods, student must actively think during the lessons. This paper aims to verify whether the use of activating teaching methods applied by an electronic learning environment of course created in Moodle has a positive effect on activation of students thinking and thus on improve of the teaching process. Research was conducted on the subject Computer data analysis. It is a subject which aim is to teach students to work in statistical software and understand the relationships that are used when working with it. Another aim of our research was to verify whether such a method of teaching of Computer Data Analysis impact on students' statistical literacy. Since the experimental group pretest results differed from the results of the control group, it must be analysed using the analysis of covariance, which "equalizes" the results of the pretest in both groups. Based on this analysis, we verified that teaching through activation of students thinking using Moodle has a positive effect on overall student performance and also on the effectiveness of teaching. The analysis, however, refuted the claim that the teaching of Computer Data Analysis with the help of activating teaching methods had a significant impact on students' statistical literacy.
