摘要
In this article, novel zeroth-order resonant antennas are presented. A reduction in the antenna size is achieved by using spiral slots on the ground plane or chip inductors. The proposed idea is explained by examining the equivalent circuit parameters; the spiral-slotted ground plane configurations are then proposed based on this principle. The circuit parameters of the transmission line with spiral-slotted ground plane are extracted and compared with those without spiral-slotted ground plane. The antenna design is optimized for small dimensions and high radiation efficiency through a parametric study. The experimental results support the proposed idea and theory
