摘要
As an art philosophy theory, aesthetics is different from its object. The product of contemporary art practice goes beyond the horizon of traditional aesthetics. Artists are participating more and more frequently in actions aimed at changing and constructing common spaces. If art continues to be the focus of aesthetic research, it must redefine itself. Jacques Ranciere is one of the authors who outlines a new perspective on aesthetics. In my thesis, I will briefly introduce his concept. It provides a number of theoretical tools that I will use to describe and explain some examples of artistic practice in contemporary society. According to Ranciere, the look does not appear where it is necessary because the difference between the two is superficial and depends on how people identify with the artwork. Only by placing it in the aesthetic system can it show the ability to combine all past and present artistic practices into one artistic concept: art is politics. Schiller and Kant (a classic work of modern philosophical aesthetics) have provided theoretical tools for setting this point.
