摘要
THIS ARTICLE DISCUSSES the process through which a "model curriculum" for chiropractic geriatric education was developed. This 1-year-long project was funded by the U.S. Health Resources and Service Administration, An interdisciplinary collaborative process was utilized to design, compile, and develop this curricular resource. The model curriculum contains elements of the most innovative teaching strategies as well as the most up-to-date assessment tools and recommended reading materials, It is now being implemented either in full, or in part, at most chiropractic institutions. Further research is needed to assess the success and utility of this educational model.
