摘要
This paper examined the mediation effect of perceived insider status on the relationship between new employees' psychological capital and turnover intention among Chinese new employees. Results from a sample of 243 new employees indicate that psychological capital is negatively related to turnover intention, and positively related to perceived insider status. In addition, perceived insider status has significantly negative effect on turnover intention. Finally, perceived insider status fully mediates the relationship between psychological capital and turnover intention. After conducting Sobel test, this study further validates the mediating role of perceived insider status. The implications of these findings conclude the article.
