摘要：

The title molecule, C9H8N2O2, is essentially planar. The crystal structure is stabilized by hydrogen bonding. An intramolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond results in a six-membered ring. Each molecule interacts with two others through N-H center dot center dot center dot O and C-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonding, resulting in the formation of nine-membered rings. These hydrogen bonds generate a two-dimensional polymeric network. There are also pi-pi interactions between the aromatic and heterocyclic rings [centroid-centroid distance 3.638 (2) angstrom].
