摘要：

This essay discusses the metaphors and periphrases used by Dante to indicate the saints and the blessed souls of paradise, highlighting their strong biblical roots. In addition to metaphors derived from the semantic field of light, the metaphors derived from the agricultural, floral and matrimonial semantic fields show how the poet introduces divine and biblical rhetoric into his poetry, which he then also uses to suggest concrete images of spiritual concepts, modelled on the word of Christ.
