The formation of initial gradients of 137Cs concentrations in soils at the aggregate level

摘要：
The initial concentration of Cs-137 on the surface of soil aggregates has been confirmed by direct and indirect experiments. The thickness of the surface adsorbing layer has been approximately evaluated. The general pattern of Cs-137 distribution on soil aggregates in the A1 horizon of soddy-podzolic heavy loamy undisturbed soil has been obtained using the autoradiography method. The possible effects of the formation of initial gradients of Cs-137 concentration in the soil are discussed.
